Jean Joichi

Admissions Counselor and Outreach Coordinator

Jean is excited to be back in the Department of Architecture as the Admissions Counselor and Outreach Coordinator after having several fun years working with Seattle Public Schools. She enjoys working with prospective undergraduate and graduate students who are navigating their search and inquiry into architectural studies.

She graduated from the M Arch program at the University of Washington and earned a BS degree in Architecture at the University of Michigan. Jean enjoyed working in the architectural field but soon learned that she had a passion for working with people which led her to recruitment at Mithun, admissions counseling at Antioch University, and academic advising in the Department of Architecture at UW.
