Architecture + Construction Management Dual Degree
The Departments of Architecture and Construction Management jointly offer a five-year dual degree leading to both a BA in Architectural Design and a BS in Construction Management.
The program is designed for students who want to understand both the design and construction sides of the built environment and prepare for careers that bridge these disciplines.
How the Dual Degree Works
Admission to the dual degree is competitive and begins with admission to the BA in Architectural Design program.
- Complete the Architectural Design prerequisites, including 19 credits of Architecture coursework and 71 credits of general education requirements.
- Apply to the BA in Architectural Design major.
- After admission to Architectural Design, students become eligible to apply to the Construction Management major during their junior year.
- Complete the combined five-year course plan for both degrees.
