The Department of Architecture is excited to announce its fourth bi-annual Alumni Awards event in April 2025 which celebrates the outstanding achievements of our alumni in the field of architecture.
We encourage the nomination of graduates who have been pursuing various forms of practice, research, education, and advocacy that strengthen the connection between architecture and the public good.
How to Nominate
Award Criteria
Nominees should:
- Be graduates of the University of Washington Department of Architecture.
- Have made significant contributions to architecture through innovative approaches, impactful projects, or community engagement.
- Demonstrate a commitment to advancing the connection between architecture and the public good.
Submit your nomination by 11:59 PM Monday, February 3, 2025.
Award Categories
Distinguished Alumni Award
This award celebrates alumni who have made long-term contributions to architecture and the built environment. Recipients are recognized for their significant achievements, community impact, and commitment to the education of future architects.

Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award
This award recognizes alumni within ten years of graduation for their achievements in architecture, design, education, mentorship, and community service. Recipients show potential to expand the impact of the architecture profession through innovative practice and civic engagement.
