Lecturer
Angela is a designer and educator based in Seattle, WA. Her design practices and pedagogy is centered on a holistic and humanistic approach towards the built environment, bridging perspectives, spaces, scales, and constructs.
At the UW Department of Architecture, Angela has regularly taught design studios since 2017. Her studios and academic explorations focus on the relationship between architecture and identity and the interplay between individualism and collectivism. In tandem, she is currently an associate at Wittman Estes, an architecture and landscape design firm based in Georgetown, Seattle, where she brings an expertise in urban infill housing projects, place-specific commercial buildings, high-end single family homes, and home renovations. She has gained past experience and work in Seattle and New York City in the US and internationally in Annecy, France and Abetenim, Ghana.
Angela received her BA in Architectural Studies from the University of Washington and Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP.
