Affiliate Assistant Professor
The Principal and Founder of b9 architects, Bradley Khouri is passionate about design excellence and service. With a Master in Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University, he focuses on the intersection of design innovation, policy, education, sustainability and real estate development. Bradley leads the practice and inspires a culture of collaboration and adaptability, empowering the team to take an active role in all aspects of projects and the practice. As an architect Bradley is an expert in infill urban housing, working for nearly 24 years in the Seattle market.
Outside of the practice, he develops multifamily infill urban housing projects to enrich the community through walkable, vibrant density. Over the years, he has served as the President of the AIA Seattle Board of Directors and Chair/member of several AIA Seattle Task Forces, including the Seattle Waterfront, Multifamily Code Update and currently Housing. In these roles and as an individual, Bradley advocates for improved policies that encourage equitable urban solutions focused on improved access, design quality, density and sustainability. Bradley is an Affiliate Assistant Professor and teaches undergraduate and graduate Architectural Design studios part-time at the University of Washington, College of Built Environments and serves on juries at the school regularly.
